1997 to 2005 - United Airlines, Regional Security - Based At LAX Los Angeles, CA. Region included the Pacific Rim of Asia, Australia to South Korea, Los Angeles to New Delhi and all U.S. Denver West.

1990 to 1997 - Staff Executive/Corp. Manager of Security - World Headquarters - Chicago, Ill.

2003 to 2005 - On site assignments regarding high terrorist alerts in Tokyo, Bangkok, and Singapore.

1999 to 2003 - Assigned to major airports and cities to secure procedures for high alert terrorist warnings and confrontation. Included Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok, Melbourne and Sydney.

Olympics 2002 - Security Coordinator for San Diego, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.

September 11, 2001 - Manage operations in Narita, Japan; All of China; Bangkok, Singapore, Sydney, Australia, etc. Developed and maintained continual liaison with Federal, State and Local regulatory agencies. Intimate knowledge of Federal air regulations and Federal criminal statutes.

Olympics 2000 - Security Coordinator for San Diego and Los Angeles. Responsible for movement of 1500 athletes, trainers and $3million dollars of equipment through Los Angeles to Sydney for 2000 Olympic games. Commendations from Olympic Committee and FAA.

1998 - Hong Kong: Developed comprehensive counter-terrorism and drug interdiction training. Implemented, tested and refined sophisticated security systems for international and domestic travel. Liaison to various embassies and foreign diplomats. Close working association with ALPA (Airline Pilots Association). Coordinated logistical move of entire Hong Kong based international airline division under tight deadline.

1990 to 1997 United Airlines - World Headquarters, Chicago.

Negotiated extensive country-specific operations in Europe, Central and South America, Asia, South Asia and the Middle East. Coordinated airline start up operations in Europe and South America. Reduced loss potential of materials and equipment 100% through innovative procedures. Managed biannual 29 hour training course instructing 1200 employees with regard to proper procedures and security measures. Elevated level of staff education and professionalism by assisting Central Intelligence Agency, including Director of Counter Terrorism CIA, with course material. Also coordinated counter-terrorism program with U.S. Department of State Counter-Terrorism Secretariat. Signatory to "Super - Carrier" drug interdiction program which resulted on no fines from 1990 to 1997.

1995 to 1996 - Negotiated high-level international and domestic security regulations with India and Pakistan. Close association with Customs cross-border regulators in San Diego, South America, Asia and Australia.

1984 to 1990 - Northwest Airlines, Minneapolis, MN, Director of Security. Successfully developed protective plans for property, crews and equipments. Value of incident prevention assessed at hundreds of millions of dollars. Developed and implemented air-cargo security procedures. Created a Ground Security Coordinator Program that was adopted by several other carriers and resulted in no U.S. Customs fines and minimal FAA Letters of investigation.

1980 to 1984 - Western Airlines, Los Angeles, CA, Director of Security. Established contracts with local law enforcement officials and successfully reduced the level of crime, theft and drug use by more than 50%. Reduced loss of in-bond property $1.5 million/month nationwide for entire airline. Coordinated international drug interdiction plans which resulted in zero fines and no loss of property. Personally recognized by Chairman of the Board for accomplishments during tenure.

1975 to 1980 - Continental Airlines, Los Angeles, CA, Manager of Corporate Security. Instituted inventory control program that successfully prevented the loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars nationwide. Commended for implementing and maintaining the Flight Attendant security training program which resulted in capture of hijacker.

1968 to 1975 - U.S. Secret Service, Worldwide, Special Agent, Presidential Detail. Numerous protective assignments including counterfeit interdiction. Successfully indicted and assisted in conviction of 35 Federal cases. Assigned to an organized crime undercover role resulting in numerous arrests.

1962 to 1968 - U.S. Marine Corps, Worldwide, Commissioned Officer, Combat Veteran. Assignments include: Vietnam, Thailand and Pacific Rim. Counter-terrorism training and implementation in the Republic of Philippines.
